London: Arsenal skipper Cesc Fabregas has said that he is willing to sacrifice a five million pound windfall to secure his dream move to Barcelona.
The Gunners are desperate to keep their inspirational skipper and this week turned down a 27 million pound bid. Barca, however, are set to return with an improved offer that could be as high as 33 million pounds, with Fabregas giving up his five million pound share to force through the transfer.
According to People’s magazine, Fabregas is keen to leave Arsenal on good terms after eight years in north London and hopes his gesture will oil the wheels on a move back to his boyhood club.
