Juventus: Juventus will dock players their wages unless they start winning during the season run-in, according to Sportmediaset.it.
President Jean-Claude Blanc had a meeting with vice-director general Roberto Bettega, coach Alberto Zaccheroni and a number of senior players at Vinovo and he outlined his approach in an attempt to evoke more effort from the team.
Players have been accused of dragging their feet this season, but Blanc and his chiefs have flexed their muscles, and they want to see significant changes. He is hoping that freezing wages will tackle the issues at Vinovo following a less than perfect season.
This is the latest in a long line of procedures he will use to ensure the squad turn the tables and finish the season with a Champions League place.
