Kolhapur: Goa's Salgaocar Sports Club today
defeated Mumbai FC by a solitary goal to strengthen its
position at the second place in the points table in the 12th
round I-League match here today.
Japanese import Ryuji Sueoka scored the only goal of the
match in the 34th minute to secure victory for the visitors.
With this win Salgaocar have 27 points from 12 matches,
three behind table toppers East Bengal, who have 30 points
from as many matches.
Meanwhile, the hosts, who suffered their fourth defeat of
the tourney, have 20 points and are fourth in the points
table.
