Sporting who is looking for their revival of avoiding relegation after three straight win intends to keep their winning combination intact and made a request to the match commissioner.

While Samananda Singh received his second booking for almost for nothing for which Churchill were awarded the penalty with Kalu Nannan throwing himself on ground tripping over the defender's leg inside the box in the 85th.

We have made a request to the match commissioner to look at the Video footage of the game and just reconsider the decision of the referee. Whatever decision he takes we will abide by it," opined Vishwas Goankar, Sporting coach.

"But it can be clearly seen that Samananda did not do anything wrong in the penalty incident while going for the ball. Junior is a key player for us in our next match against Dempo who is also being booked by the referee for time wasting" Gaonkar said.
