Sporting Clube de Goa sign Kalu Ogba Panaji: Sporting Clube de Goa, who have been promoted to the top division after being relegated last year, have strengthened their team with the signing of Dempo midfielder Kalu Ogba for the 2011-12 I-League season.

The arrival of Kalu means Sporting now have three foreign players with South Sudan striker James Moga and Guinea defender Keita Boubacar being the other two.

"There is a slot for another Asian Player left to be filled and we are looking for a good striker to fill that slot. At present, three players are on trail. The one who is the best will be chosen," club president Peter Vaz said.

Known for his doggedness in the middle, the Nigerian Kalu has the ability to dictate play both in attack and defence.
