Raipur: Accusing Congress of deliberately delaying flights of BJP leaders during their campaigning, the ruling BJP in Chhattisgarh said here today that such "cheap" practices showed Congress?party`s "frustration" about Narendra Modi`s popularity.

"They (Congress) are completely frustrated to see a Modi wave in the country. We can say that they are mentally lost and now they are indulging in cheap practices," BJP MLA and spokesperson Shivratan Sharma said, referring to the delay in flights of BJP leaders.

Choppers of senior BJP leaders, including Prime Minister nominee Narendra Modi, party chief Rajnath Singh and Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh are being deliberately delayed without any proper reason, he alleged.
"It seems that it will continue until Lok Sabha polls," he said.
The helicopter of BJP president Rajnath Singh was held up today for about half an hour at Jagdalpur (Bastar) in Chhattisgarh due to delay in getting air traffic clearance.

Chief Minister Raman Singh`s chopper was delayed twice while campaigning in the state, Sharma said.
Modi had charged Congress with conspiring to obstruct his campaign by deliberately delaying his flights at a rally in Satna district of Madhya Pradesh yesterday.
