VHP international president Pravin Togadia on Monday said the country needs "Bharat model" of development.

Thane: VHP international president Pravin Togadia on Monday said the country needs "Bharat model" of development.

"We want a Bharat model that will give us prosperity, security and health," Togadia said while replying to a query on whether India needs a Gujarat model or any other model of development.

He was speaking on the sidelines of a function here.
Togadia said the VHP was working to ensure a strong bond among citizens of the country.

He also gave details of a "Hindu Helpline" to provide assistance to citizens in the need.
Togadia, also the national president of `India Health Line`, which aims at collecting blood for various blood banks all over the country through its annual blood donation drive, appealed to people to donate blood.
