Kolkata: The Election Commission on Thursday rubbished allegations that some booths were rigged in yesterday`s polls in West Bengal.

"There has been absolutely free and fair polls. The complaint and allegation is not correct," Election Commission`s special observer in West Bengal Sudhir Kumar Rakesh told reporters here.
When asked further about the allegations, he said, "I will dispute this. If some party doesn`t have an agent then we can`t provide that."
The CPI(M) and Congress have accused the ruling Trinamool Congress of booth capturing and vote rigging during elections for the nine Lok Sabha seats yesterday and demanded a repoll in several booths.
