 BJP President Amit Shah will address a public meeting in Goa on May 28 and hold a series of meetings with office bearers, legislators and ministers, a senior party functionary said on Friday.

Panaji: BJP President Amit Shah will address a public meeting in Goa on May 28 and hold a series of meetings with office bearers, legislators and ministers, a senior party functionary said on Friday.

"Shah will be on one-day visit to the state where he will address a public meeting at Azad Maidan on May 28," Goa BJP Unit President Vinay Tendulkar told a press conference today.

This would be Shah's first Goa tour since he was elected as the BJP President.

During his day long visit, Shah will also be meeting the party office bearers.

"Organizational matters would be discussed in the meeting," he said, adding, in the evening Shah will meet the legislators and ministers of the party in the state.

BJP was voted to power in the state after the 2012 legislative Assembly polls.
