Panaji: A cook working with the India Reserve
Battalion of Goa Police was arrested on Monday for allegedly
raping a minor girl.
The accused Mohandas Cuncolienkar (26) had married the
victim in a temple, which has no legal validity, police said.
The incident came to light after the girl got pregnant.
Cuncolienkar was arrested today after the girl complained
of rape and has been booked under relevant sections of the Goa
Children's Act and IPC, police said.
