Panaji: Konkan Railway Corporation Limited
(KRCL) on Sunday said that unscrupulous elements were promising
jobs in the corporation for the land-losers and innocent
jobseekers and that it has not planned any recruitment.
"Some unscrupulous elements are reported to be involved
in misguiding the innocent jobseekers and land-losers,
assuring them jobs in the corporation," KRCL’s Chief Public
Relations Officer Siddheshwar Telugu said in a press note.
The corporation which had acquired huge tracts of land
to lay the rail tracks has an employment policy for those who
have given their land for the project.
Telugu said that some anti-social elements made false
claims about getting jobs to land losers and the corporation
has not authorised any person for recruitment.
The corporation has appealed to people not to pay any
heed to the unauthorised agents making false promises of
offering jobs in KRCL.
