Panaji: A 16-year-old girl was hospitalized on Wednesday after unknown persons flung acid on her while she was sleeping at her home in Guirim village, 10 km from Panaji, police said.
The victim has been admitted to the Asilo Hospital in Mapusa town.
"She was asleep in her bedroom when some persons threw acid on her through a window," a police officer said.
