Panaji: A constable attached to a police
station here was suspended after he skipped duty to visit a
casino and allegedly misbehaved with the staff.

Superintendent of Police (North) Arvind Gawas said a
departmental inquiry has been initiated against constable
Vikram Naik, who visited a casino located on the outskirts of
the city, while he was on duty last Sunday.

"Pending inquiry, he is suspended from his duties," Gawas
added.

As per the complaint filed by the casino management, Naik
