Panaji: Taking a jibe at Swami Ramdev over his anti-illegal mining campaign in Goa, Congress on Monday questionned credibility of the Yoga guru as a protagonist of the cause.

"This gentleman (Baba Ramdev), with due respect to what he has done for Yoga, ran in woman's attire. How can he inspire Goans," AICC Observer Jagmeet Singh Brar said referring to the midnight crack down by police in June at Ramleela Maidan in Delhi during Ramdev's hunger strike.

The yoga exponent is currently touring the coastal state and appealing people not to elect any politician involved in illegal mining trade. Congress politicians from the state are especially on the radar of Swami Ramdev.

Talking to reporters on Saturday here, Ramdev had threatened of sitting on a hunger strike in support to his anti-illegal mining agitation.
