Pacheco moves Bombay HC for anticipatory bail

Panaji: Former Goa Tourism Minister
Fransisco Mickey Pacheco on Sunday moved the Bombay High Court
bench here with his anticipatory bail petition.

Sources close to Pacheco said the petition was moved
this afternoon by his lawyer.

Pacheco is on the run after he was questioned by the
crime branch in connection with the death of his close friend
Nadia Torrado, who died allegedly after consuming rat poison
on May 30 in Chennai.

The former minister`s anticipatory bail plea was rejected
by a sessions court in Margao last week.
