`Badre Muneer` enters Limca Book of Records
The magazine, established in 1996 publishes religious articles and thoughts in three different languages like English, Gujarati and Arabic.
Rajkot: A city-based monthly magazine for
the Dawoodi Bohra community claims to have made a national
record for having published the highest number of pages in its
March issue, securing a place in the Limca Book of Records.
The issue of `Badre Muneer` brought out on the occasion
of 100th birth anniversary of Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin, the
spiritual head of Dawoodi Bohra community, contained 800 pages
(in two volumes of 400 each)," Akbarali Bharmal, Editor and
Publisher of the magazine told PTI.

The March 2011 issue was included in `Limca Book of
Records` and the certificate in this regard was received on
November 10, he said.
The world record was missed by a margin of just 35 pages
which is held by an European magazine which had 834 pages,
Akbarali said adding `Badre Muneer` is hoping to set the
world record when their spiritual leader`s 100th birth
anniversary will be celebrated in 2014 according to the
Christian calendar year.
