Bhavnagar: A constable of the Central
Reserve Police Force allegedly killed his wife and attempted
suicide in Kaliabid area of the city, police said on Wednesday.
Dalsukh Rathod (31) killed wife Kalpana (41) by slitting
her throat last night at their resident in Jeevan Apartment,
they said.
Rathod later consumed some poisonous substance, they
said, adding he was rushed to the civil hospital and his
condition was said to be critical.
Rathod is posted in Raipur capital of Chhattisgarh, and
was here on a leave.
A case of murder has been registered against him.
