Mehsana: Seven members of a family were killed and eight were injured as a tyre of a jeep they were travelling in burst and the vehicle rammed into a tree near Thadasana village here.
Among those killed were four children.
The incident took place when the victims were heading from Thadasana to Lasdi to attend a marriage, police said.
The deceased were identified as Pravin Thakore (48), Babli Thakore (55), Vijay Thakore (7), Karanji Thakore (8), Mukesh Thakore (8), Kantben Thakore (45) and Usha Thakore (12).
