Ahmedabad: At a time when BJP has launched a campaign against Gujarat Governor Dr Kamla, alleging her involvement in a land scam in Rajasthan, she was seen in deep conversation with Modi at a public function here.
Kamla and Modi were found talking to each other on the dais of a function organised by the Indian Red Cross Society, for inauguration of an old-age home here.
The BJP has demanded resignation of Gujarat governor for her alleged involvement in a land scam in Rajasthan and said that if she did not do so in next few days, the party would launch an agitation against her.
The difference between Governor and Modi began to show after she appointed Retd Justice R A Mehta as Lokayukta of Gujarat by-passing the state government last year. The case of appointment of Lokayukta by state governor is pending in the Supreme Court.
