Ahmedabad: Former MLA from Bhavnagar
constituency Sunil Oza, who had left the BJP just before the
2007 state elections, on Friday rejoined the party here at the
state office.

BJP general secretary Vijay Rupani made an
announcement about Oza`s comeback to the party here on Friday.

Oza was elected as MLA from Bhavnagar constituency
twice on the BJP ticket.

"I have returned to the BJP, as I have realised that
Congress is the main enemy of the people. They are following
anti-people policies and that is the reason I have decided to
join BJP once again," Oza said.

He was one of the few MLAs, who had revolted against
the Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi and had left the
party before the 2007 elections. He had fought the elections
as an independent candidate, but had lost the elections

Later, Oza had joined Maha Gujarat Janta Party (MJP)
floated by another rebel and former minister of state for home
in Modi government Gordhan Zadafia.
However, he had left the MJP around three months bank.

Oza has joined BJP a day ahead of Modi`s one-day
sadbhavna fast in Bhavnagar city on Satuday.
