Vadodara: Action will be taken against
industries violating pollution norms, the Gujarat government
today warned.
"The Gujarat Pollution Control Board will not hesitate to
take action against them if they violate norms," Minister of
State for Finance and Industry Saurabh Patel told a convention
of entrepreneurs at the 7th Mega Industrial Exhibition
organised by the Vadodara Chamber of Commerce and Industry
here.
Patel also hinted at formulating a new water policy for
meeting the ever-increasing demand of water from industries.
