new heights like a kite soaring high up in the sky, Chief
Minister Narendra Modi said today while greeting people on the

An upbeat Modi, who recently garnered a record Rs 20.83
lakh crore in investment during the recently concluded Vibrant
Gujarat Summit, termed Makar Sankranti as an important

roof-top with the locals for a brief period.
"Yesterday, I was with some of the biggest industrialists
of the state. Today, I am with underprivileged people of my
constituency," Modi said while visiting Parasmani Society in
Amraiwadi area, part of his Assembly constituency Maninagar.
People across the state celebrated the festival of kites
with great fervour. They were seen on the roof-tops and
terraces, flying kites with their kin and friends.

remained closed in most parts of the state.
