Surat: A man has been arrested for allegedly
beating his younger sister to death in Kapodara area of the
city, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday when the girl, Puja
Rathod (20), was at her elder sister's house, they said.
According to police, Puja's brother Mukesh thrashed her
to death with a wooden plank. After the incident, the accused
surrendered before the police.
The reason for Mukesh's action was not known yet, police
said, adding further interrogation was on.
