Salem: Suspecting her fidelity,a husband
allegedly murdered his newly married wife, police said on Tuesday.
They had got married last month despite opposition
from the parents.
Police said the man told them during questioning that he
found his wife in a compromising position with another man
last week following which they had a quarrel. The woman then
left for her parents` house but returned last evening.
They again quarrelled following which he allegedly slashed
her neck, leading to her death.
The man has been arrested.
