Vadodara: The Maharaja Sayajirao
University (MSU) here has asked the dean of its law faculty
to give details of admission given to the city Mayor, Dr Jyoti
Pandya, for the LLB course, officials said here on Tuesday.
It is alleged that against the sanctioned 240 seats, the
dean granted admission to 333 students, including Pandya.
Asmita Manch, a local organisation, had threatened to
launch agitation on the issue.
It alleged that Pandya was not eligible for the admission
to law course as she allegedly had no bachelor's degree.
