Narendra Modi to address youth rally in Gujarat on February 20

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi is slated to address a massive youth rally in Ahmedabad on February 20.

Ahmedabad: BJP`s PM candidate for 2014 Lok Sabha polls and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi is slated to address a massive youth rally here on February 20.

As per reports, over one lakh youth, aged 18-35 years, are expected to attend the `Vijay Shankhnad` rally. The rally which is being organised by the Youth Wing of the Gujarat BJP is being seen as an effort to woo the youth.
The rally is expected to be attended by the youth wing national president Anurag Thakur, party`s Gujarat in-charge Om Mathur, state party president RC Faldu and state youth wing president Pradeepsinh Vaghela. This is said to be Gujarat CM`s first big rally targeting the youth in Gujarat.

The event is scheduled to be held at the Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Modi was declared BJP`s PM candidate by the party in September last year. He has since been travelling across the country, addressing rallies and exhorting the crowd to get the country rid of the Congress. BJP`s rank and file and its leaders are enthused about lakhs of crowd that are attending his rallies and are hoping that the so-called Modi-wave will help them get back to power at the Centre after a decade.
