Ahmedabad: A magisterial court today sent
the nephew of BJP MP from Jundagadh, who was arrested in

police custody till September 20.

Shiva alias Pratap Solanki (40), nephew of BJP MP Dinu
Solanki, was arrested yesterday from Rajkot airport, by the

The RTI activist was shot down by two motorcycle bound
assailants near Gujarat High Court on the night of July 20.

Metropolitan magistrate D S Trivedi granted 12-day

agency. Shiva Solanki`s role was under scanner after one of
the accused arrested in the case had revealed his involvement.

Investigating officer S M Chaudhary in his remand
application said Pratap and another arrested accused
Bahadursinh Dhirubha Wadher, a constable from Junagadh
district, had conspired to kill Jethwa.

According to police, Jethwa`s RTI applications had

they decided to get rid of Jethwa.

It was decided that Pratap would provide money, while
Bahadur would arranged for person who could kill Jethwa, they
