Ahmedabad: The special investigation team
(SIT) on Thursday once again recorded statement of former minister
of state for home, Gordhan Zadafia, for the fourth time in
connection with a 2002 riot case.

state for home during the post-Godhra riots.
"I was called by the SIT members so I went there,"
Zadafia said.
"Whenever they call I will go and cooperate with them,"
he added.
Zadafia`s statement was earlier recorded about a month
ago by the SIT officials in connection with a complaint by one
Zakia Jaffery.
Zakia, wife of slain former MP Ehsan Jaffrey who was
killed during the 2002 riots in Gulburg society along with
68 others, has alleged that Modi, his cabinet colleagues,
police officials and senior bureaucrats aided and abetted
post-Godhra riots of 2002.
Zadafia`s name, appears in the list of 62 persons named
in Zakia`s complaint. The apex court had ordered the SIT to
probe Zakia`s complaint and furnish report by December 31.
