Stick to Gujarat please, Nitish tells Modi

Patna: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar Monday politely told his Gujarat counterpart Narendra Modi to mind his own business and not to comment about Bihar.

After Modi said at a public meeting in Rajkot that Bihar was way behind other states chiefly because of caste politics, Nitish Kumar pulled up the Bharatiya Janata Party leader.

Nitish Kumar advised Modi to think more about his own state instead of worrying about Bihar's backwardness.

"Bihar is on the move despite natural calamities, diseases and other problems," he said.

Modi had reportedly said that Bihar was at one point of time in history a political and spiritual leader of the country.

But it had slipped into socio-economical backwardness ever since caste leaders took the centre-stage in Bihar, he had said.

Modi has stated the fact. I am dissapointed with Nitish Kumar for criticizing Modi on this issue. Nitish is not a cast based leader, he is doing great job in Bihar. But it does not mean he should become intolerent and deny the facts.

Modi`s comments shows that he cares for all states of India not just his own. If he becomes India`s PM, India definitely will be a very developed country commanding respect of the world.

As a future PM, modi should comment all states. What is wrong in voicing an opinion by a chief minister of one state about another ? Bihar is part of India, not a foreign state. But Biharis and Nitish are shown mirror about caste politics that has pushed the state to dark ages.

What narendra modi has said, is not wrong. Mr Nitish should have accepted that humblly. Mr. nitish is not responsible for casteimin bihar. Mr Nitish is doing good in bihar. But that just can not change the fact that there is too much casteism in Bihar and even in UP. Every citizen in india has very right to critcise the evil. so why narendra modi can not crticise?

Mr.Modi has been lucid by raising an imperative question regarding Bihar.Contingency of Calamities and Diseases aren`t confined to one particular region or sect per se.And by touting these reasons to the public blatantly, the politics in that region become derisive. Quarantines and damage control goes in tandem with prosperity and progress. The massive earthquake didnt stop Gujarat`s progress and emulation.

Both Modi and Nitish are good as respective leaders for Gujrat and Bihar. In your daily life too you have to ask others keep quiet, so nothing wrong Nitish has done. It should not be highlighted so much.

Nitish is right. The two states are miles apart culturaly and linguistically. Erstwhile Dwaraka and Magadha were at war for a long time during Sri Krishna times.N.Modi should worry about his state and win future elections to be like a Jothibasu of Gujarath. He has the potential to lead the country but he should carry people along with tolerance
