Three killed in hit-and-run at Gujarat

Dahod, Gujarat: Three persons were killed in a hit-and-run accident near Chapri college here, police said Friday.

The incident took place last night when the deceased, who were students of Government Polytechnic college, were knocked down by a speeding truck while they were walking down the road, they said.

The deceased have been identified as Harshad Rathwa, Jaimin Mehta and Samket Patel.
A case has been registered against the truck driver, who fled from the spot immediately after the incident, police added.
