Three more flu deaths in Gujarat, toll rises to 91

Vadodara/Ahmedabad: Three more persons
died of swine flu in Gujarat, taking the toll due to the virus
to 91 in the state, health officials said on Sunday.

Mukesh Upadhyay (46) died due to swine flu at a
hospital in Vadodara, they said, adding he was admitted to
hospital on Friday in a critical condition.

32-year-old Alka Rajendrabhai and Ranjan Thakore (24)
succumbed to the deadly disease here yesterday, officials
said.

Meanwhile, 13 more people have tested positive for the
swine flu virus, taking the total number of cases in the state
to 588.

The new cases have been reported from Ahmedabad,
Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Kheda, Vadodara and Surat districts, they
said.
