Tight security at Pavagadh Shaktipeeth Temple for Navratri

Sixteen CCTVS cameras have been installed at the Pavagadh Shaktipeeth Temple, where a large number of devotees and visitors are expected during the Navratri festival which began yesterday.

Vadodara: Sixteen CCTVS cameras have been
installed at the Pavagadh Shaktipeeth Temple, where a large
number of devotees and visitors are expected during the
Navratri festival which began yesterday.

The hill temple is located near Champaner, the ancient
capital of Gujarat, about 50 kms from here.
Atul Sheth, of the Kali Temple Trust, said a large
number of people from several parts of the country, including
Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, are expected at one
of the three main Shaktipeethas of Gujarat. The other two
Shaktipeethas are situated at Arasur and Chunval.
"As many as 16 CCTVS have been installed at the temple
to keep a close watch on visitors and prevent any untoward
incident," he said.
