Amreli: A 25-year-old youth died
during a run at a police recruitment drive on Tuesday, police
said.
The victim, Arvind Choudhary from Mansa taluka in
Gandhinagar district, collapsed during the 5 km run, that was
being conducted on the police parade ground here, they said.
Police suspect that Choudhary might have suffered a
cardiac arrest during the run, which resulted in his death.
The body of the victim had been sent for postmortem to
know the exact cause of death, police added.
According to the candidates from Mansa, who had
accompanied Choudhary, he is survived by wife, whom he had
married last year, his mother and two sisters.
A case has been registered and further investigation
is on.
