Amreli (Guj): A 25-year-old youth died during
a physical endurance test for recruitment of police constables
here on Tuesday.
The victim, Arvind Choudhary from Mansa taluka in
Gandhinagar district, collapsed during the 5 km race on the
police parade ground here, police said.
Police suspected that Choudhary might have suffered a
cardiac arrest during the run, which resulted in his death.
His body had been sent for postmortem to know the exact
cause of the death, police added.
According to some other candidates who had accompanied
Choudhary, he is survived by wife, whom he had married last
year, his mother and two sisters.
A case has been registered and further investigation
is on.
