22 hardened criminals nabbed: Haryana Police

Twenty-two criminals, wanted in several cases of murder, abduction and extortion, were nabbed by police in Rohtak and four other districts of Haryana in the past five months.

Rohtak: Twenty-two criminals, wanted in
several cases of murder, abduction and extortion, were nabbed
by police in Rohtak and four other districts of Haryana in the
past five months.
Thirty-three gangs, involved in chain snatchings, theft
of vehicles and robberies, were also busted during the period,
IGP V Kamaraja (Rohtak Range) told agency here.

He said 13 wanted criminals were arrested from Rohtak,
five from Jhajjar, three from Sonepat and one from Karnal in
the past five months.
A special drive to apprehend criminals, who carried
reward on their heads, was launched in these districts since
the advent of the new year, the IGP said.

He said 389 bail jumpers and 39 proclaimed offenders
were also nabbed during the special drive.
