700 Haryana govt schools to have water purifiers

Haryana Government has decided to install Reverse Osmosis system in 700 government schools across the state to provide purified drinking water to the students to prevent them from being afflicted by water-borne diseases.

Jhajjar: Haryana Government has
decided to install Reverse Osmosis system in 700 government
schools across the state to provide purified drinking water to
the students to prevent them from being afflicted by
water-borne diseases, an official said Tuesday.

Surina Rajan, Principal Secretary, Education Department,
said the project would be implemented in schools with a
strength of more than 300 students with the help of the Public
Health Department.

Urging the officials of both the Education and Pubic
Health departments for giving their best to successfully
execute the plan, Rajan directed them to start identifying
schools where RO system was required for purifying drinking
water.
