Rewari (Har): An Army jawan and two others were on Saturday arrested here for allegedly snatching a woman's gold chain, police said.
Rajender, an Army jawan who is on leave these days, Sushil, both residents of different villages in Mahendergarh district, and Jagan, a resident of Kherthal town in Rajasthan, were held.
The police has also recovered from them a gold chain which they had allegedly snatched from housewife Manju Gupta in Sunder Lal Market here last evening.
During interrogation the trio allegedly confessed to having looted gold chains from other women in various colonies of the town in the past few months.
