Ambala: Haryana police on Friday claimed to have
nabbed an active member of Bhinderanwala Tiger Force (BTF)
Gurbaj Singh alias Jagtar, and his accomplice Rupinder Singh
alias Bittu near village Nanyola near Haryana-Punjab border.
Police also recovered two country made pistols and live
cartridges from their possession yesterday. A stolen car and
two fake number plates were also found.
The two were produced in the local court which remanded
them in police custody for six days.
DCP, Ambala, Shashank Anand told reporters that a few
years back a case under TADA Act was registered against Gurbaj
Singh in Kurukshtera district. Both of them were wanted in a
number of criminal cases by Haryana, Punjab and Uttrakhand
police.
