Gurgaon: Land records or `jamabandis` of 73 villages of the district on Delhi`s outskirts have been computerised and integrated with online registration system, a step that will help in checking fraud in sale of land.

Delivering of hand written copy of `Jamabandi` in these villages has been totally banned and now only computer generated copy will be given to the applicants on demand, a senior official said on Monday.

Deputy Commissioner PC Meena said that anyone can view the Jamabandi of his land in Gurgaon by clicking on http://jamabandi.Nic.In.

Meena asked revenue officials to integrate Haryana Registration Information System (HARIS) with Haryana Land Record Information System (HALRIS) pertaining to land records of all the villages in the district as early as possible.
This will help in checking fraud in sale of land in the district because after the system comes into place, registration of sale deed of any immoveable property or piece of land will be automatically reflected in the Jamabandi.

Also incorporating name of the buyers in mutation register would be simplified.
Presently, the buyers of land usually do not go for entry of mutations of that land in their name after registration of sale deeds.

Out of 73 villages, 14 villages fall in Gurgaon Tehsil, 19 villages in Manesar, 20 villages in Farukhnagar tehsil, 7 villages in Sohna Tehsil and 13 villages in Pataudi Tehsil.
