Sirsa: The entire Ellenabad Assembly
constituency has been declared highly sensitive and
para-military forces will be deployed for free and fair
byelection slated for January 20, an EC official said today.
Micro-observers will also be appointed at all polling
booths in the constituency.
Central Election Observer for the constituency Vinod
Agarwal said 170 micro-observers will be appointed out of
which 142 will be posted at polling booths.
The Central observers would keep an eye on the entire
election system while micro-observers would keep a watch on
their respective polling booths.

Yudhvir Singh Khyaliya said 27 battalions of para-military
forces and Haryana Police would be pressed into service to
ensure free and fair election.
Bharat Singh Beniwal of Congress is locked in a keen
contest with INLD's Abhay Singh Chautala.
The byelection was necessitated after INLD chief and
former Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala vacated Ellenabad
