Blast in Haryana bus leaves 12 injured, hunt on for man carrying chemical explosives

This is the third incident of a chemical explosion inside a bus in Haryana this year and second within a month.

Chandigarh: At least 12 persons were injured when an explosion took place inside a private bus at Bhuna road in Fatehabad district of Haryana on Tuesday morning. 

The bus was on its way from Jakhal to Fatehabad when the explosion took place, that left at 12 persons with injuries, according to a NewsX report. 

The injured have been rushed to a nearby hospital.

As per preliminary investigations, one of the passengers was carrying chemical substance in a bag caused the blast. 

The Haryana police recovered a bag inside the bus which is said to have been carrying explosives. For now, the man carrying explosives is said to be absconding. 

This is the third incident of a chemical explosion inside a bus in Haryana this year and second within a month. In May this year, at least eight persons were left injured after an explosion took place inside a Haryana Roadways bus near Pipli in Kurukshetra district.
