Yamunanagar: Five members of a family, including two women, were on Saturday murdered by some unidentified men in Jammu Colony here, police said.
Satpal (47), his wife Veena Rani (45), son Mukesh (25), daughter-in-law Suman (23) and another son Rinku (22) were murdered this morning by sharp-edeged weapons, they said.
Satpal's brother informed the police about the incident.
Police said that Veena Rani's body was found in a store of the house and the remaining bodies were found in a room.
Satpal was running a marriage bureau, they said, adding a murder case had been registered in Farakpur police station and further investigations were on.
