Haryana government has decided to provide the self-marriage loan to its employees so that they could solemnise their own marriage in a befitting manner.

they could solemnise their own marriage in a befitting manner.

Earlier, the marriage loan to class one to four employees
was being given to perform the marriage of their daughters,
dependent sisters and sons and this facility could be availed
three times during the service period, Finance minister Capt
Ajay Singh Yadav said here today.

The minister said the marriage advance was limited to Rs
one lakh or 15 months basic pay of the employee, whichever is
less, for the marriage of three children/dependent sister(s)
totalling up to three times.

Yadav said the second or third marriage advance would be
granted to government employee according to his admissibility
under each category separately.

The marriage advance would be admissible to regular
class-one, two, three and four state government officials. The
sister marriage advance would also be admissible to any
brother or sister on the same terms and conditions.
