New Delhi: Haryana State Haj Committee
on Saturday reviewed its preparations for the forthcoming Haj Yatra
in its meeting held here.
Committee chairman Aftab Ahmad said those desiring to go
for Haj and holding a valid passport will have to send in
their applications between March 1 and 31. Those above 70
years will be allowed to take one person with them.
About the Haj Bhawan to be built in Gurgaon, Ahmad said
that possession of the plot will be given to the Committee
within this month.
A sub-committee, formed to decide on its design, will
visit Lucknow, Tamil Nadu and Mumbai to study designs and
drawings of Haj Bhawans there, he said.
