Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder
Singh Hooda today thanked Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and
Defence Minister A K Antony for giving approval for setting up
of Indian National Defence University (INDU) at village Binola
in Gurgaon.
The Union Cabinet today accorded "in-principle" approval
for setting up of INDU as a fully autonomous institution.
Welcoming the decision, the Chief Minister said that with
the setting up of INDU in Haryana, a long standing demand of
the people of the state will be fulfilled.
