Bhiwani: Haryana unit of Akhil Bhartiya Jat Arakshan Sangharsh Samiti on Thursday threatened to disrupt the Queen's baton relay for the coming Commonwealth Games in the state to press for their demand for OBC reservation.

The Samiti President Hawa Singh Sangwan said the organisation would protest the Queens baton relay from September 26 to October 2 by holding protest demonstrations in the state.

"We will seal the borders of Delhi on October 3, if Central government does not provide OBC reservation to Jats by October 2. Supplies of electricity, water and milk from Haryana to Delhi will also be stopped," Sangwan told reporters here.

He said no settlement had been reached with state government on the issue of reservation and their agitation on the issue would continue.

Replying to a question, he said "a few people were trying to mislead public on the issue of compromise with government".

On Monday evening, the agitating Jats owing allegiance to Jat Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti, demanding quota, suspended their protests after the state government agreed to some of their demands.

The state government had on Monday accepted three main demands of the protesters after Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda held a meeting with the representatives of Jat Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti, spearheading the stir.

anyone wants to form a picket line to stop these barbarians from even reaching delhi? i don`t understand why we indians even let these things reach to this level.
jats and meenas are two commmunities that are not only known for their barbarism - but also their absolute and blatant disregard for public life and property and the national cause!

they can only understand the language of the stick. lets give it to them!
