Chandigarh: "If I would not have joined
politics, I would have become a journalist," Union Information
and Broadcasting Minister Ambika Soni said on Sunday.
"Journalism has always fascinated me and is close to
my heart," she said at the annual meet of the Chandigarh
Punjab Unit of Journalists here.
"I would have certainly become a journalist if I had
not joined politics," the Minister said.
She also talked about the "love-hate" relationship
between the scribes and politicians.
"We share love-hate relationship, but yet we are
interdependent and cannot do without each other," Soni said.
"You always look to make headlines from our mistakes,"
she said in a lighter vein.
