Jaipur: A kin of Ramdev on Saturday alleged that
he was attacked at the behest of the yoga guru over a property
dispute in their ancestral village in Haryana.
Speaking at a press conference here with Congress leader
Digvijay Singh, Srikrishan Kumar, who claims to be Ramdev's
uncle, alleged that Ramdev's goons tried to kill him when he
was starting construction of a house in Saiyad Alipur village
in Haryana's Mahendragarh district on November 10.
Kumar, who claimed to have received injuries on head and
back, alleged that the goons also threatened him of dire
consequences and police were trying to protect them.
Kumar said his father Pusa Ram, who is also Ramdev's
grandfather, was also injured in the incident and is
hospitalised in Haryana.
Singh said he will speak to Haryana Chief Minister
Bhupinder Singh Hooda in this regard and seek justice for the
victimised family.
