Hyerabad: Twenty-one MLAs, loyal to Kadapa MP Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, today held a marathon meeting to discuss the course of action in the winter session of Andhra Pradesh Assembly.

As many as 28 MLAs had submitted resignations in protest against the reported inclusion of the name of the late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy in the FIR of the case involving Jagan. The Speaker is yet to accept them.

Of these 28, twenty-one attended the meeting today. The meeting is significant, with respect to the stand of the MLAs in the wake of Telugu Desam Party's threat to move a no-confidence motion against the Congress government.

MLA Konda Surekha, who left earlier, said she would abide by the decision taken during the meeting.

Two congress MLAs, Jayasudha and N Sesha Reddy, who were earlier with Jagan, have since announced their decision to stay with the Congress.

Some of the MLAs, who recently met the Assembly Speaker, reportedly asked him not to accept their resignations.
