New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) Haryana in-charge, Kailash Vijayvargiya, on Sunday said that he is confident that the party will achieve its target of over 60 seats in the state.
“We are proud that people have shown faith in us. I am confident that the party will achieve its target of over 60 seats,” Vijayvargiya told ANI.
Madhya Pradesh Urban Development Minister gave the credit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party president Amit Shah.
“Modi's leadership and Shah's organisation skills helped us in winning the faith of the people,” he said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the star campaigner for the party in the state and held several rallies. The party was trying to cash in on the 'Modi wave' to gain maximum number of votes.
According to the latest trends in Haryana, BJP has lead on 51 seats followed by INLD at 21, Congress 15 and HJCBL 4.
